Office 365 Courses from Knowhow2
We have now launched Knowhow2's range of twenty nine Office 365 courses covering Access 2016 (5), Excel 2016 (7), Word 2016 (6), PowerPoint 2016 (6) and Outlook 2016 (5).
These courses are designed for both tablet or PC use and detect the learner’s device type to render the course to suit. On a tablet device which uses a touch control interface, rather than a keyboard mouse input, you are asked if you want to run a mobile version of the course. The mobile version of the course will run similar to a video, where the slides will run in a linear fashion. Each training slide is displayed with the accompanying audio, and upon completion of the voice, the auto completion for the slide is triggered. This animates the advancing action for the slide. You can also view the course “traditionally” where you can perform click actions by tapping the screen, and using the mobile device keyboard to perform any typing input. In the mobile version of the training, only multiple choice questions are asked.
In this way the Knowhow2 courses retain the full interactivity of the course when a learner is working on a PC and students can seamlessly flip between the two modes as and when required.

Two New Courses from Vado
US based publisher Vado has released two new courses on preventing discrimination in the workplace, one aimed at employees and one aimed at managers. Both courses focus on compliance with the US federal discrimination and harassment laws enforced for the EEOC. The employee courses is 30 minutes duration and the manager course is 60 minutes by adding training that managers uniquely need to know as experience shows that many claims of discrimination and harassment stem from well-meaning but ill-informed managers that don’t respond appropriately to events they either observe directly or that are brought to them by a team member.
New Courses from eLearning for You
eLearning for You, the specialist publisher for the care home sector, has released eight new courses for this sector including a Care Certificate course.
