New contract win evidences the strength of our eLearning client value proposition

Cambridge CC

We are delighted to welcome Cambridge City Council as our latest client having secured a two-year contract for the provision of an LMS and content library. Cambridge City Council tendered for an LMS and content solution to replace an existing solution that has reached its contract term. The Council sought a cost-effective solution that provided an easy-to-use LMS complete with a strong content offering to support soft skills, leadership, compliance and desktop IT learning needs.

Core Learning were able to deliver this through their proprietary SCORM LMS together with a multi-publisher content library designed to pull together best-of-breed content across the wide scope of requirements, and at an affordable and competitive price. The content solution consisted of 100 micro-learning courses together with full simulation courses for Microsoft Office. In addition, a rapid implementation was needed to offer the Council continuity of supply after the existing service ceased at the end of an already extended contract term, and Core Learning were able to configure and commission the LMS complete with the full content library within two weeks of the contract award.

Vince Webb, Organisational Development Manager at Cambridge City Council, comments “We value the simplicity of the Core Learning’s LMS. Its ease of use along with the range of engaging learning modules were significant factors in us choosing Core Learning. The team at Core Learning have been extremely supportive in helping us to ‘go live’ with our new Cambridge City Council LMS within a very short timescale. The new GDPR learning module has proved particularly helpful!”.
