Course Description

Noise, or unwanted sound, is one of the most pervasive occupational health problems, as noise is a by-product of many industrial processes. Exposure to high levels of noise can damage your hearing and may even cause other harmful health effects.This course highlights the dangers posed by exposure to excessive noise levels, identifies the steps that your employer must take to ensure the safety of your hearing in the workplace and helps you to recognize why protecting your hearing is so important.
